Dublin Castle Conference Centre is located in the upper courtyard of Dublin Castle.

Driving and Parking

There is no car parking for delegates at Dublin Castle. However, there are three car parks within 500m of the conference venue. There is one on Werburgh street, one on Drury street and one on Fleet street. For more information on parking, see Park Rite and Q Park who operate these car parks.

There are a number of easy ways to get to the city centre and Dublin Castle from Dublin Airport.
There are various bus services which run a range of routes to the city centre. The Dublin Airport website provides information on ways to the city.
Allow an hour to get to the city centre by public transport or bus services or allow 30 minutes for this journey by taxi.

1.4km from Busáras Station

Standing with Heuston station directly behind you, looking up the river, walk straight ahead, along the right hand side of the Liffey. You will pass six bridges. At the seventh, turn right up Parliament Street, which is on a hill. City Hall will be at the top and Dublin Castle is directly behind that. To access the Castle, go to the right hand side of City Hall, up the hill and through the gates of Dublin Castle.

1.9km from Connolly Station

Upon exiting the terminus on to Store street, the Custom House will be on your left. Walk towards the Custom House and around it to the right hand side and you will come to a bridge. Cross the Liffey and turn right. Walk up the river, past four further bridges. At the fifth bridge, turn left, up Parliament Street. You will see City Hall ahead of you. Walk up the hill, to City Hall and then go to the right hand side, around the back. Dublin Castle lies behind City Hall. Go through the gates to Dublin Castle.

Dublin Bikes

Dublin has a system of city bikes for rent. Dublin Castle has its own bike station in Barnardo Square, directly next to City Hall.
